Video conference spaces can not be lit with standard office or conference room lighting fixtures that are designed to provide horizontal illumination (on the table). The critical light levels are the vertical surfaces of the participant's faces and the surrounding walls in the camera's view. Additionally, the lighting should not cast hard shadows on the participants faces.

Our indirect, fluorescent VT fixtures were designed to comfortablly illuminate the participants to the correct light levels, without washing out the Screen/Camera wall they are viewing. They are provided standard with dimming ballasts to allow total control of the broadcast image.This installation at Econolite Control Products Inc. in Anaheim, CA is a perfect example of what can be accomplished with proper lighting. AKTB Series wall wash fixtures were used in addition to the VTTB video conference fixtures so the client could have total control over the lighting requirements in the room.
