Louisiana State University utilized several models of our cast “Hole in the Ceiling” fixtures as part of the renovation of the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student Athletes. The 8″ aperture, HITC fixtures were used to illuminate the lounge areas of this modern computer lab. The cast GRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum) portion of the fixture blends with the ceiling, while the metal fixture housing attaches above. The result is an environment with just the right amount of light, and virtually no glare.
In the second photograph, our HITC fixtures are a beautiful fit for the Administration Center of Louisiana State University’s Academic Center. In this case, the 6″ aperture fixtures were used to illuminate work counters that run the length of the space and accent pillars spaced along the sides.
