This corporate café is a lively, invigorating space. The lighting design for the high-tech company with random “dashes” of white and vividly colored rectangles is meant to be reminiscent of the old, original computer data cards. ELP’s “Slot in the Ceiling,” SITC Series down lights create the computer card “dashes” in the ceiling. Once installed, the cast GRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum) portion of the fixture blends with the ceiling, while the metal fixture housing is attached above. The cascade of color from the fixtures is a refreshing surprise.
